Limited Support until November, 20

Hello everyone!

Because of an asia-trip and personal reasons (👰 🤵) there will be only limited support until November, 20th. This affects the support in the official forums (here and at the WordPress plugin directory) as well as the development of bugfixes and updates. I will do my best to keep an eye on the forums to give you as much support as possible.

Sounds great, have fun but *hope* you see this one. How does one start a topic??? It is so very frustrating that this is the one thing that is NOT CLEARLY EXPLAINED.

Inside a forum you will find a “New topic” button which you can use to start new topics (see the attached image below).

Please also keep in mind that normal users cant create new topics in this Announcements forum. 🙂

We do not see any such button anywhere on the front end of our installation. Searching for documentation regarding “how to post a new topic” yeilds 0 results. Hmmm. Not sure where to go from here, but thanks for the quick reply. 🙂

@ame-network Are you logged-in? Guests without account cannot create new topics as long as guest-posting is not enabled. Also disable caching-plugins for the page on which the forum-shortcode is located at.

Yes, I tried it both ways. Guest posting is on. Nothing.

Have you closed the forum in the structure-administration?

If its still not working: Try to disable other plugins and switch to one of the default themes to find the troublemaker.

I’m pretty sure this is too much hassle. Everything else is working exactly as needed so your plugin is actually the current “troublemaker” for us – sorry.  I still find it a bit odd that there were no results when searching your docs, and I think the client will just want me to move on.  Sorry to bother you on your vacation. Thx
